Sean Murphy, one of FOWIL’s original founders and a former Vice President of FOWIL, created the Maine Lighthouse Trust in 2022. The MLT supports lighthouse preservation and education by rewarding annual grants funded by the proceeds generated by the Maine Lighthouse license plate. Judy Klement 2016 ALF Keeper of the Light
Judy was instrumental in bringing the interior restoration of the Keeper’s house to fruition by generously donating the funds needed for the restoration. Judy was honored in 2016 by the American Lighthouse Foundation and presented with the “Keeper of the Light” award.
IDEXX http://www.idexx.com Many IDEXX employees have graciously donated their volunteer hours to help FOWIL with many landscaping, maintenance, and restoration projects on on the island. These have included assisting with repairs to the boardwalk, oil house, and boat house.
